We're honored to present a limited collection of customized signature knits from the DEMYLEE archive. In partnership with Ron Herman Japan, we're directing proceeds from these one-of-a-kind pieces to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital's important outreach work. This year has illuminated the value of access to care, and the vital call for a green future. We offer this sustainable special collection in humble response to these essential questions.
48 select knits have been deaccessioned from our archive, including rare, discontinued styles and colors.We've lovingly customized each piece by hand, pulling from our in-house cache of never-before-seen knit experiments, rich intarsias, and charming vintage trims. Taking thoughtful cues from the spirit of each sweater, unique and whimsical designs emerged, showcasing the work and wit of local female master ber artists. Our crafting practice requires hours of detailed attention per piece, imbuing every knit, patchworked, embroidered, and appliquéd passage with an intimacy earned only through time.
This limited collection is 100% recycled, organic, and hand-worked by women of color, to celebrate DEMYLEE’s respect for sustainability and quality, and uplift this worthy cause with intention and integrity. We've reunited with enduring styles, and invite you to create their next story.
