I am a Japanese woman. I love my family and friends, fashion, and the sea. I am curious about everything.

FAVORITE CITY

I was born and raised in Japan, so I love Tokyo because it brings together so many interesting aspects of my country. I have lived here for 18 years and have never felt bored. Outside of Japan, my first pick for a vacation would be Saint-Tropez.

INFLUENCE

I never try to search for influence. Rather, new ideas come to mind naturally during my daily activities- I might be brushing my teeth, in the middle of a meeting, or by the sea... But if I had to dig deeply for a source of inspiration, I think it would be an amalgam of objects and experiences: beautiful people I meet every day; shopping around vintage stores; photo books; interiors of mysterious cafes I encounter in foreign places. Everything in my daily life influences me.

Demylee is an essential and important brand for both me and Ron Herman. I love it. It's one of the few brands that I will still be wearing in 5 or 10 years. It's simple, but special; elegant and feminine, but handsome. Honestly, there aren't many brands that make such beautiful clothes today. I also respect and admire Demy, an elegant woman herself.

GISELLE COTTON PULLOVER: The essence of Demylee. It's a simple but magical knit that feels instantly special when you put it on.

ALIZ WOOL BLEND PANT: Quite simply, these are the best pants in my closet. Now that I have them, I can't live without them.

VIVI COTTON PULLOVER: My staples for the spring/summer season are Demy's cotton knits in addition to her cashmere. This year I decided to pick a lavender hue, which I can hardly wait for.

STRIPE BENNIE CASHMERE PULLOVER: 100% cashmere and baby yellow stripes--how dreamy! I'm fascinated by the colors Demy creates.
